Track An Order
Tracking numbers are provided to you via email once your order ships.
To track an order in your user account:
First log into your account by clicking the My Account link at the top of the page. Then select the My Orders link on the left. From this screen you can check the status of your order. You will not receive a tracking number until your order is marked as "Shipped". Once your order has been shipped you will receive a notice via email with a tracking number, your tracking number will also be provided on the My Orders screen in your account.
To track an order as a guest:
Once your order has been shipped you will receive a notice via email with a tracking number. You may use this number to track your package.

Shipping & Delivery
We offer $5 flat rate shipping on all U.S. deliveries. Enjoy FREE shipping on all orders over $100. We also offer two-day and one-day shipping options (see rates below). We currently do not offer APO/FPO Military or International shipping.

Free Standard Shipping on Orders Over $100 (Rates for U.S. Deliveries) Rate: $0 Delivery within 5 to 8 business days

Standard Shipping (Rates for U.S. Deliveries) Rate: $5 Delivery within 5 to 8 business days
• Delivery within 5 to 8 business days . (The transit time begins the first full shipping day after the package leaves our facility.) 


Two-Day Shipping (Rates for U.S. Deliveries) Rate: $10 Delivery within 2 business days
• Delivery within 2 business days. (The transit time begins the first full shipping day after the package leaves our facility.) 
• No P.O. boxes or APO, FPO, or DPO
• Saturday delivery available for certain locations


One-Day Shipping (Rates for U.S. Deliveries) Rate: $15 Delivery within 1 business days
• Delivery within 1 business day. (The transit time begins the first full shipping day after the package leaves our facility.)
• No P.O. boxes or APO, FPO, or DPO
• Saturday delivery available for certain locations.


* Overweight Shipping (Rates for U.S. Deliveries) Rate: $20, $40, or $60 Delivery within 5 to 8 business days
• Extra shipping charges may apply to certain overweight overwight or oversized items. These items will be marked with an asterisk. 
• Delivery within 5 to 8 business days . (The transit time begins the first full shipping day after the package leaves our facility.)  


APO/FPO Military Shipping
We currently do not offer APO/FPO Military shipping.
International Shipping
We currently do not offer international shipping.
Tax
We charge sales tax in all required U.S. jurisdictions. Sales tax will be applied to your sub-total during checkout. *Tax rates may vary.
 
Return Policy/Make a Return
Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority. Most items purchased from Books Are Fun and Jewelry is Fun can be returned for a refund or exchange within 90 days of purchase. Most Electronics and Kitchen Appliance items must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Books Are Fun and Jewelry is Fun may, in its sole discretion, decline to issue a refund or exchange, or issue only a partial refund for the following reasons:

  • Lack of original receipt (or other proof of purchase and purchase date)
  • Product is not returned in original packaging
  • Product is not returned with all parts and accessories
  • Serialized product where serial number does not match our records
  • Product is damaged or heavily used

For electronics, if manufacturing defects occur after 30 days, please contact the manufacturer to determine if the product is covered by a warranty. If you prefer, we would be happy to assist you in this process – simply contact customer service at the phone number or email above. Brands we sell that are deemed electronics and kitchen appliances are: Boom, Chic Buds, Cuisinart, Fitbug, Fugoo, MIO, Monster, iVideon, Parrot, Polk, Samsung, Skullcandy, Sound Logic. For a full list of manufacturers, please click here. PLEASE NOTE: All sales on HDTVs are final. For defects that occur within or after 30 days, please refer to the manufacturer warranty for repairs or replacements.

Refunds or exchanges will be issued following the return of the item. Please note that in some cases replacement items may be unavailable, due to limited supply. In such cases, a refund or exchange for a different product may be offered.

 
Methods of Payment
Credit Cards.
We accept credit card payments via the following merchants: Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Debit Cards and Paypal. All online orders paid by credit card are processed on a secure server. We also accept Gift Vouchers/Cards for online payment only.
Checks.
We accept checks at most of our events and displays, we do not accept checks for online purchases.

Rewards Points
You can use your Reward Points for purchases on booksarefun.com at checkout. If you have accumulated enough Reward Points to redeem them you will have the option of using Reward Points as one of the payment methods. The option to use Reward Points, as well as your balance and the monetary equivalent of this balance, will be shown to you in the Payment Method area during checkout. Redeemable Reward Points can be used in conjunction with other payment methods such as credit cards, gift cards and more. For our full rewards policy visit here.
Gift Voucher/Cards
We accept gift vouchers/cards as a method of payment for online orders only. To purchase a gift card visit: http://shopedu.collectivegoods.com/gift-cards.html.
